Angela Gegg Belizean/British Author, Painter, TV & Radio Host, after more than a decade in the public eye she stepped out and turned into a Real Estate Aficionado.
Known in the Art World as Proshka (the name derived from her Latvian heritage).
Angela Started on Television in 2003 with her trailblazing Cooking Show on LOVE TV, Cooking with the Smoky Mermaid
her first major ART SOLO SHOW was in 2004 at the Mexican Institute of Culture and History.
As one of the first You Tube Partners, she has over a million views on her partner Channel (she chose to block most of her videos due to living in the middle east out of respect to the Shiria Law and ceased producing videos leaving her following behind)
in 2005 she was chosen as the only Belizean Artist in CLICO for The Art Of Caribbean Women the Calendar which was released in 2006 along with an Art Exhibit in Trinidad, Port of Spain.
That same year, Gegg donated an art piece for the FCCA Charity Art Auction.
In 2006 she launched an extreme art show called HOT CHICKS CAN PAINT TOO, and Published her first book, The Light The Dark and Everything In Between, which was opened and endorsed by the then Honorable Prime Minister Musa.
Featured in Made In Belize in 2007, a book on Belizean Artists and one of only 8 females chosen of the 33 Artists featured.
Feature in The SPOKEN WORD CD, featuring Belize Poets and performed for the launch of the CD at the Image Factory in 2007.
Hosted Numerous Charity and Fundraisers in Belize, as the Host of the LIVE UP YOUTH CONCERT with Reggae artist Etana and the honorable Prime Minister Dean Barrow. Host of the Red Cross Hurricane relief and awareness event.
She was both a host and judge at the Miss Belize Pageant for consecutive years in a row.
On stage performance artist over the years at the LICK IT POETRY SLAM, and JAZZ FESTIVAL in Belize
Female Speaker at colleges, universities and schools all over Belize, including Women in Literature at UB, called an Encounter with Women Writers in the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 and also spoke at Galen University.
In 2008 after the success of her first book, she an invited Poet Featured in UNESCO, the other Voices Poetry Project, a cyber anthology
She was hired by Channel 5 in 2008 to host their new TV Show called "Tek it or Leave It" - the Belize version of "Deal or No Deal", which ran its' first season through to 2009. She was later hired as the first host of Mega Bingo which was alive game show airing every Monday and Wednesday Night.
In 2009, she had her major art show called IMPULSE, and released her second book titled Artist Confessions.
In March of 2009 she had a triple feature in "Women in Art" as her art and first book were featured, she also did a double Spoken word Performance and share an audio-visual installation. She also participated in "Women in Art" 2010

In 2011 she was brought on to KREM TV and given her own Talkshow called OMG, Oh Miss Gegg, which aired Live every thursday with repeats every night.
Angela disappeared from the Public Eye in the middle of hosting the popular TV Show OMG in 2012.
She moved to the Middle East to peruse her studies and dreams in Real Estate.
As the queen of reinvention she went from being a "somebody in public life" to essentially "'being a no body while starting over in Real Estate, she says simply, We are not trees, we can leave anytime, anyone, and anything.
Even in her absence she has been featured in Magazines and Publications about her work in the Arts, most recent is the Megaline Magazine in Canada.
Her Art can be seen at the Museum of Belize and at the National Institute of Culture and History today.
In Dubai she has already made headlines with her work in the field, being featured in the property finder Magazine, Prestige Magazine and numerous Blog Sights about her work in the GCC as a Commercial Broker.
