Get ready for a dramatic season finale filled with fierce wrap-up battles between legendary F1 teams as they compete for the coveted 2022 FIA Formula 1 World Championship title here in Abu Dhabi. This year marked the 14th year season of Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 is undoubtedly one of the biggest annual events in the UAE’s sporting calendar.
Charged with an electrifying energy unlike any other, this year’s championship race weekend is sure to bring the capacity-crowd to its feet.
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is happening from Thursday November 17 to Sunday November 20. It’s one of the biggest weekends of the year, and as always, there’s certain to be loads of action and excitement on and off the YAS MARINA Circuit.

For the first time in eight years, the Yas Marina Circuit capacity is increasing to accommodate more spectators with a brand-new grandstand. The new structure will be built near the current North Grandstand by turns five and six.
The new Abu Dhabi Grand Prix grandstand is being built specifically for 2022 and will give viewers a prime seat as cars speed by on the circuit’s longest straight. Vroom, vroom. Additionally, Etihad Park is a short walk away from the new grandstand, providing easy access to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.
What’s worth noting is that this year’s race will be more exciting because of the new layout and more laps. Drivers will have more chances to overtake each other, which will undoubtedly add to the competitive spirit.
